About Behind the Scenes: Cheetah & Friends at the Safari Park

Venture behind the scenes at Benbough Amphitheater to meet one of our cheetah ambassadors; learn more about cheetah conservation and how we care for the Safari Park’s cheetahs. In addition, enjoy another up-close encounter with one of the Safari Park’s animals and a journey around the Safari Park’s multi-species field enclosures to view a wide variety of African and Asian animals. Explore on foot and by cart to visit exhibits and keeper-only areas. —

  • Animal Presentation at Wildlife Workshop

  • No service animals permitted on tour


Admission

  • Admission is NOT included in the price of Behind the Scenes: Tigers and is required. Please ensure each guest has a valid Admission ticket or Membership.


Age Restrictions

  • Minimum age is 3 years old
  • No lap children permitted
  • 17 and younger must be accompanied by a paid Adult


Capacity

  • Join-in Tour
  • Minimum: 1
  • Maximum: 10


Change / Cancel Policy

  • Changes or cancellations are not permitted.


Check In

  • 10 minutes prior to scheduled time
  • Location: Lockers near the front entrance
  • NOTE: Please allow suffient time for travel to the Safari Park, parking, and to find Check In location inside park. Allow additional time for busy peak and holiday periods.


Frequency

  • Daily, year round, at various times


Miscellaneous

  • Late guests will be admitted only up to 5 minutes past advertised tour time
  • Children must be able to walk as strollers cannot be taken on tour
  • No restroom break (unless absolutely necessary)


Parking

  • A nominal parking fee is paid upon arrival.


Program Advisements

  • NO Selfie sticks
  • No tripods
  • No food or drink except for water
    • Medical exceptions can be made
  • No smoking
  • No restroom break
  • No camera supplies will be provided
  • No large or bulky camera equipment; no tripods except as used as monopods
  • Strollers cannot be taken on tour
  • May be cancelled due to safety reasons
  • This is an all-weather event
  • Parking fee is not included and is paid upon arrival
