About Behind the Scenes: Birds of Prey at the Safari Park 2015

Feed mealworms in the Wings of the World aviary to see which birds swoop down for a snack, meet birds of prey up close, and discover how our trainers use the sport of falconry with their collection as a Harris' hawk or other raptors fly to your gloved hand.

Admission

• Admission is NOT included in the price of Behind the Scenes: Tigers and is required. Please ensure each guest has a valid Admission ticket or Membership.

Change / Cancel Policy

• Changes or cancellations are not permitted.

Check In

• 15 minutes prior to scheduled time
• Location: Lockers near the front entrance

• NOTE: Please allow suffient time for travel to the Safari Park, parking, and to find Check In location inside park. Allow additional time for busy peak and holiday periods.

Frequency

• Weekends
• 2-hours
• Start: 9:00 a.m

Miscellaneous

• Late guests will be admitted only up to 5 minutes past advertised tour time

• No restroom break (unless absolutely necessary)

Parking

• A nominal parking fee is paid upon arrival.

Program Advisements

• No tripods
• No food or drink except for water
  • Medical exceptions can be made
• No smoking
• No restroom break
• No camera supplies will be provided
• No large or bulky camera equipment; no tripods except as used as monopods
• Strollers cannot be taken on tour
• May be cancelled due to safety reasons
• This is an all-weather event
• Parking fee is not included and is paid upon arrival
