About Flightline at the Safari Park
Weight
- Minimum 75 lbs
- Maximum 250 lbs
- Soar from a ridge-top along a cable gliding approximately 2/3 of a mile over exotic animals in the North America, Africa and Asia exhibits
- Fly as high as 160 feet above the ground at approximately 50 miles per hour
- Experience includes gear, an orientation, and a “fledgling” line to practice taking off from a platform and successfully landing. This first Flightline run is 470 feet long and whisks riders through fragrant, shady trees
- Once “fledged,” guests board a truck for a ride to the upper launch area of our main Flightline. Along the way, guests hear about our condor conservation program
- Guests arrive at Kilima Point where they return their gear and meet up with family and friends who did not participate in the tour.

Flight Requirements:
- Minimum weight: 75 lbs / Maximum weight: 250 lbs (Each guest will be weighed on site.)
- Closed-toe, secure shoes required
- Guest must be able to comprehend and follow all safety instructions
- Guest must be able to fit within the safety harness
- Guest must be physically able to:
- Climb up and down a short vertical ladder and stairs
- Put on safety harness
- Hold arms above head for 2 minutes
- Hold legs apart for 2 minutes
- Hold and carry a 20 lb. trolley for several minutes
- Demonstrate all rider positions
- A Waiver must be signed by each guest prior to the tour
- We have the written script of the video safety briefing and visual signals for the flight positions
Admission
- Admission is NOT included in the price of the Flightline Safari and is required. Please ensure each guest has a valid Admission ticket or Membership.
Age Restrictions
- 10 years. No exceptions.
Capacity
- 1 - 8 guests per program time.
Change / Cancel Policy
- Changes or cancellations are not permitted.

- 30 minutes prior to tour time at the Flightline Ticket Booth in Tembo Plaza

Miscellaneous
- Late guests will be admitted only up to 5 minutes past advertised tour time
- Re-rides may be purchased on site at a discounted price
Parking
- A nominal parking fee is paid upon arrival.

Ratios
- Adult to Child (ages 10 through 15): 1 Adult for every 2 Children (no exceptions)
- Ages 16 and 17: no accompanying adult required; cannot be chaperone for riders ages 10 - 15 years
